Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• “Platform”: the DinkClub website and services.
• “Club owner”: a person who registers a management account to create and run a club.
• “Member” (player): a player added to a club by its owner; may be given a password to sign in.
• “Guest”: anyone viewing the platform without signing in.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• People under 18 may register a club owner account only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you notice unauthorized use.

3. Club owner responsibilities

• Only enter a member's information (name, photo, sign-in password, address if any) with that person's consent; for anyone under 16, with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Record match results honestly. Match data directly affects members' ratings.
• Choose the right visibility: a public club lets anyone view its leaderboard, meetups and matches; a private club is visible only to its owner, its members and system administrators.
• Keep the passwords you issue to members confidential and change them when needed.
• Club owners may grant members club manager rights (managing meetups, matches and members) and are responsible for actions taken by those managers.

4. User content

You keep all rights to the content you upload (club name, logo, avatars, descriptions, slogans, highlights…). You grant DinkClub the right to store and display that content as needed to operate the platform.

You confirm that you have the right to use the content you upload and that it does not violate the law or anyone else's rights.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Posting content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or invades others' privacy.
• Impersonating another person or club.
• Interfering with, attacking, probing or overloading the system; accessing accounts or data you are not authorized to access.
• Bulk-collecting data with automated tools without permission.
• Deliberately entering false results to manipulate the leaderboard.

6. Ratings and titles

Ratings, win rates and titles are calculated automatically from the match results club owners enter. They are for reference and fun within the club and are not official rankings of any federation or sports body.

We may adjust the rating formula to reflect skill more accurately; when we do, ratings for the entire history may be recalculated.

7. Third-party services

Address search and maps use OpenStreetMap data (via the Photon service and OpenStreetMap's tile servers); the directions button opens Google Maps. Your use of these services is also subject to those providers' terms.

8. Platform administration

To keep the platform safe and lawful, system administrators may correct or remove inaccurate data, recalculate ratings, and suspend sign-in or club creation for accounts that violate these terms (with a stated reason). All administrative actions are logged.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• The platform is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running reliably but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of data entered by users, for real-world meetups and matches, or for injuries or disputes between members.
• To the extent permitted by law, DinkClub is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account, clubs and related data via the contact email below. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we will update the effective date on this page and announce it on the platform. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation; failing that, by the competent authorities in Vietnam.
